Important pages should be crawlable, indexable and internally linked. Sitemaps support URL discovery but do not guarantee indexing.
Explain services with examples, boundaries and context. Identify the company and cite sources when claims need them; avoid generic filler.
Observe search visits, queries and inquiries. No special tag guarantees inclusion in generated answers; document changes and evaluate their effects.
Google says a page must be indexed and eligible to appear with a snippet in Search. This requires accessible content, useful answers and a structure that helps discovery. The site must also be included in generative features through the corresponding Search Console control.
The Search generative AI control is under Search Console Settings. Inclusion is the default, but a property may inherit a parent property’s setting. Check the effective value for the domain rather than assuming a public page is already included.
A claim such as “we are experts at everything” offers little context. A useful service page explains the problem addressed, information the team needs, possible deliverables and how progress is evaluated. Real case studies should identify scope and evidence without exposing private customer information.
Mywebsite service pages describe these criteria and company contact channels. Guides identify Mywebsite as the editorial owner and link to primary documentation when explaining Google requirements. Generated scenes are identified as illustrative; they are not presented as photographs of customers or actual staff.
Google explains that it does not use llms.txt or special markup to grant visibility in generative answers. Adding “AI” to every title does not demonstrate experience either. Structured data helps describe the actual page and must match its visible information.
Next, check indexing and available Search Console reports. Questions, locations and contexts change results. No one can promise permanent citations for a company or attribute an improvement to a tag without supporting data.
